I've been focused on healthy eating for the past couple of months. Because of some back problems I've had it's forced me to rethink how food affects my health. After just 6 weeks of #thewhole30 eating my body is so happy to be alive and the pain is 90% gone👌🏼.
I was working with a client recently and she was trying on a skirt she had owned for over 20 years. It was clear to me she had not worn it in a long time, but she was getting stuck because of an emotional attachment to it. The conversation went something like this.
A few months back I discovered The Minimalist 30 day challenge and dove in head first. On day one I let go of one thing on day two I let go of two things until I reached the 30th day and let go of 465 things in total.
I recently went to see the Minimalist documentary that cemented my belief in less is more. The movement if you haven't heard is two friends Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus who spent the early part of their careers climbing the corporate ladder for the ultimate prize, more money, which meant more things which they thought would lead to more happiness.
Recently I have been helping several clients get a grip on their paper clutter. You would think in this age of technology that paper clutter would be reduced, but some days it can feel like you are buried in it.
